House Collection and Couture invitation suites

Bewitching Wedding Stationery reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Once an order is placed with Bewitching Stationery you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.


Quotes are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.


Place cards, table numbers, table names and table menus are only available to customers who are ordering seating plans or orders of service, or who have previously ordered wedding invitations or save the date cards from Bewitching Stationery. A minimum order of 30 applies to all wedding stationery, with the exception of seating plans, welcome signs, table names, table numbers and table menus.


Designs that feature small parts and decorations are not suitable for children. Some of the designs are hand finished and as a result slight variations between each item may occur.


Colour on screen will always look slightly different to the the printed version. Similarly, your printer may not print exactly the same as the printers Bewitching Stationery use. If you have provided a colour swatch, every effort will be made to match it as closely as possible. Due to the printing process, colour variation can occur between print runs. Therefore, colours may differ between your stationery sets and any samples that you receive. If you want the colour exactly the same throughout all of your wedding stationery, it is recommended that all of your wedding stationery is printed at the same time. Seating plans are printed on a different printer to all other wedding stationery, therefore the colour will always differ to any co-ordinating stationery.


Bewitching Stationery use several different types of card stock.  For our House Collections we use 300gsm warm white hammered textured card  or 300gsm bright white textured card, or 400gsm ivory smooth card.  Unless requested otherwise,  all stationery will be printed onto the card type assigned to each stationery collection.   Card samples are available free of charge.  Refunds will not be issued if on receipt of your printed stationery, you decide that you do not like the card stock.


Seating plans and signs greater in size than A3 will be printed onto smooth white cardstock mounted on to foamex, or if you specifically want to mount it into a frame then it will be on 2000gsm cardstock.


Envelopes are included free of charge with all save the date, invitation and RSVP card orders. Bewitching Wedding Stationery supply 120gsm self seal white envelopes for Save the Dates and RSVP cards.  For invitation suites Bewitching  Wedding Stationery supply 150gsm white self seal envelopes.. Samples are available free of charge. Upgrades to colour envelopes are available are an additional cost and can be requested at the time of ordering.

For Couture Invitations you will receive a 200gsm white self seal envelope for posting.


Full payment in (£) pound sterling is required once you have confirmed your order. Accepted payment methods are paypal, bank transfer, or cash.  For payment via bank transfer, details will be sent to you once you have placed your order.

supply of information

Please ensure that the information supplied for your wedding stationery is your final draft and accurate to minimise amendment and the need for reproofing. Only when your guest list is confirmed can Bewitching Wedding Stationery make your seating plan and place cards. The information to complete these must be with Bewitching Wedding Stationery at least 4 weeks before your wedding date to allow time for production. Sometimes guests may change their mind at the last minute and where possible Bewitching Wedding Stationery will help to alter the seating plan or place cards so long as the items are not in print.


Proofs are free and sent as a digital PDF via email using the wording and colour agreed in your order. You are responsible for checking the PDF proof for layout, colour (please refer to the colour section for more information), dates, spellings and grammar. Bewitching Wedding Stationery will endeavour to check this, however, if proofs are approved by yourself with errors and are subsequently printed, Bewitching Wedding Stationery takes no responsibility.  If replacements are required, these will need to be charged for in full.  On review of the proof, if any amendments are required, changes must be emailed to Bewitching Wedding Stationery, the proof rechecked and approved before going to print.  Three rounds of amendments are included.  Extra rounds of amendments are charged at £20 per set of proofs.   If you would prefer to see a printed proof of your House Collection wedding invitation, please notify Bewitching Wedding Stationery at the time of ordering. A charge of £25.00 + £4.95 postage applies for a standard wedding invitation or £35.00 + £4.95 postage for a foil wedding invitation. For delivery, please allow 7-10 working days (+5 days for foil invitations).   For Couture Invitations a sample proof is included.

If you are having printed guest names on Couture Invitations you will not receive a proof of each individually named invitation, therefore please check any guest name list you provide to Bewitching Wedding Stationery carefully before sending as guest names will be copied directly from this list.  Bewitching Stationery cannot be held responsible for the mis-spelling of any Guest’s name.  If an error has been made on your part and you realise once you have received your stationery and would like any reprints then please be aware that, although we will make every effort to reprint for you at the same cost as your initial stationery that,  depending on quantities this may not be possible and we may have to charge more per invitation for reprints. 

lead times

Once your order has been confirmed, and full payment has been cleared, Bewitching Wedding Stationery will contact you within 1 working day for all of your wording and colour details. Once Bewitching Wedding Stationery has received this information, a PDF proof of your personalised wedding stationery will be sent to you within 2 working days. Once approved, your House Collection stationery will be sent to our professional printers.  It will be delivered to you within  7-10 working days (+5 days for all foiled stationery) of final approval.  Unfortunately these timings may alter due to unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, Bewitching Wedding Stationery will keep you updated on your order.  See below for Couture invitations.

delivery of items

All orders are delivered Monday - Friday. Delivery is tracked and will require a signature to provide proof of receipt. Bewitching Wedding Stationery take extreme care in packing your stationery.  In the unlikely event your parcel suffers damage, please write ‘damaged’ when signing for the parcel and report this to BewitchingWedding Stationery within 24 hours via email.  Failure to do so will impede any claim that is made and will mean that BewitchingWedding Stationery cannot replace your items free of charge. If ordering wedding day stationery alongside save the date cards, invitations or reply cards, the wedding day stationery will be dispatched separately at a later date once you have confirmed your guest list.

The cost of delivery will be advised to you before posting


All prices are subject to change without notice. This will not affect any confirmed orders.  Prices for Bespoke Couture stationery are detailed on each page.  However, please bear in mind that only refers to what is pictured.  If you require variations to items such as embellishments, paper overlaps, lace, etc, then there will possibly be a change in the price.Please contact us for a personal consultation to discuss your bespoke requirements.


variations within the order

 Most of our stationery is handmade therefore there may be slight variations in colour of ribbon, card and other materials used. Therefore there may be slight differences from our website, particularly as monitors are all calibrated differently.

If there is slight variations with your order this will not be deemed as a fault.

If you order stationery in stages then we cannot guarantee continuity of the materials or design.



All proofs will sent to you via  email as a PDF document prior to starting your order. It is your responsibility to take time to check your proofs and make any amendments necessary. You must make sure the proofs are as you want them before you approve it.   Any mistakes once you have approved cannot be changed after printing without additional costs incurred of your behalf.

We will not begin production until you have approved your proofs and then after this time we will not be responsible for any mistakes.

Please make sure you have thoroughly checked any names, addresses, places, times, locations etc and text used as we will print exactly as the document have approved.

All information, such as names to be printed into invitations, names for place cards, table plans, etc, must be provided in a Word document, or an email listing.  We cannot accept Excel or any other format, because the names will be copied and pasted direct to the templates from your information.

Any delay could result in your order been delayed.


amendments to an order

Once payment has been made we order all stock required for your order to prevent any delays. If a customer requires a change to an order this will incur the charge for the new stock.

If a delivery has taken place and there is an error by us in any part of the order we will require the item back in the original packaging and we will rectify and refund the postage that has been required to send the item back.


cancellation of order

As your wedding stationery is personalised and tailored to you, cancelled orders following the approval of the final proof can not be refunded. 

If you decide to cancel your order once design work has started and proofs exchanged, a 50% refund will be issued.

These terms are still relevant if Bewitching Stationery have to cancel an order because the client has not met deadlines agreed and set at the time of booking. In the course of a booking Bewitching Stationery may set a date by which we need to receive all wording / guest names or any other information by in order to proceed with the booking or get the order to you by a certain date. If these deadlines are not met and it is not possible to move your booking to another date then Bewitching Stationery has the right to cancel the booking and retain 75% of any monies paid, as per normal cancellation policy, to cover any work completed at the time of cancellation, any materials already ordered and loss of earnings due to being unable to take on another order during the time period scheduled to make your order.

Postal delivery charges are non refundable.



Once you receive your order you have 3 days to examine your order and advise us of any errors. After the 3 day period you accept that all of the goods received from Bewitching Stationery shall be deemed to be satisfactory and Bewitching Stationery is said to have properly performed its obligations in relation to the purchase and sale of the goods.

Our  products are handmade therefore we do not offer a returns policy on unwanted items.

 Due to small parts on most of the stationery none of the products are suitable for children.


ordering Couture Invitations

For orders of our Bewitching Wedding Stationery Couture ranges which are embellished with glitter, ribbons and lace,  please allow 4-6 weeks from proof confirmation.   Delivery will then take 2-5 days after this by our courier. Please be aware that any delay in signing off of proofs or receiving guest names and addresses may delay your order. Bespoke orders will take longer. We always send your stationery on an insured and tracked delivery service so a signature will be required. If you would prefer us to send to a work address so someone is there and available to sign for your parcel please let us know during the order process.

Proofs are produced for the client to check the layouts, design and wording etc prior to printing. Including in the cost of your stationery is up to 3 sets of proofs, so please make sure you group any changes you wish to make into as few instances as possible. We find that 3 sets of proofs is usually more than adequate, however, if you do go over this number, then you will be charged an additional £20 per set of proofs.

Bewitching Stationery  cannot be held responsible for any typing or image errors noticed after the proofs have been checked and client approval given. Any amendments required must be submitted via email.  Proofs will be in PDF format.

Any amendments made after final approval and printing will be charged accordingly.

If you are having pre-printed guest names you will not receive a proof of each individually named invitation, therefore please check any guest name list you provide to Bewitching Stationery carefully before sending as guest names will be copied directly from this list.  Bewitching Stationery cannot be held responsible for the mis-spelling of any Guest’s name.  If an error has been made on your part and you realise once you have received your stationery and would like any reprints then please be aware that, although we will make every effort to reprint for you at the same cost as your initial stationery that,  depending on quantities this may not be possible and we may have to charge more per invitation for reprints. 

As some of our stationery is embellished and hand finished you may need to use more than one first class stamp when posting your stationery. We advise you check the royal mail website to confirm the postage you require before posting to your guests. Bewitching Stationery cannot be held liable for any costs incurred through errors in postage of your stationery.  Bewitching Stationery cannot be held liable for any damage occurred during transit of your stationery.  We will always do our utmost to ensure items are packaged securely, however if there is a problem please let us know immediately as all parcels are insured and we may be able to claim a refund. No claim can be made however without first having the items returned to us. We are reliant on Royal Mail’s and our couriers policies for missing parcels and may therefore need 15 days, as per Royal Mail’s and other couriers T’s & C’s in order for you to make a claim for any missing parcel.

Orders are subject to availability of materials. In the event of supply difficulties Bewitching Stationery will inform you to discuss alternative materials or designs. For orders that are printed in separate batches or split over a time period, there is always a possibility of colour variation or print discrepancy. This is due to items being printed using different equipment or ink batches. Whilst we would always endeavour to get an exact colourmatch, please be aware that there is a possibility that items may not be identical in respect of colour and print quality. This also applies to differences between samples and final printed items. Please note that as Table Plans and Guest Books are printed on to a different material to other stationery then slight colour discrepancies are likely. Payment for colour discrepancies WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.  We would always advise ordering a few blank invitations when ordering so you do not need to order further invitations in a different print batch at a later date. 

If you are ordering bespoke Couture stationery the timescale  will be longer, you will be advised when you order as to what the delivery schedule is likely to be. If you require a shorter delivery time, do let us know and we will try our best to meet your deadline. In very urgent cases we can offer an express service. This will, however, incur an additional cost of £100.


Bewitching Stationery accepts no liability for the misuse of any information or product sold through this website. There shall be no condition or warranty, expressed or implied binding Bewitching Stationery as to the quality of the goods supplied or that they will be suitable for any particular purpose or for use under any specific conditions. Under no circumstances whatsoever will any liability be accepted for any actions, damages or consequential loss arising in connection with any information, goods or material of any description supplied by Bewitching Stationery
